Calling Songs, Magical Soul Weavings and Blessings for the Future Ones
Tracey Forest and Sara McFarland
This first mytho-poetic offering of our duo, Keepers of the Flame, is Beyond the Known, an album of calling songs, magical underworld soul weavings and blessings for the future ones. With beauty, allurement and fierce love, we invite you off the beaten path into the mythic forest out beyond the village. There, you will meet magical, beautiful and shy creatures- including your own wild Soul. Sara McFarland (Hologram Heart) and Tracey Forest (KeyTurner) have each been catching songs for decades -- gifts from the places we live with and pilgrimage to.
We are Soul Guide Song Carriers, who call together the wild ones, the re-memberers, the visionaries and those dreaming the world to come. Our songs accompany you on your journey of soul and they are the visionary soundtrack to the revolution of soul-wide initation for the human species. We sing for the ancestors and for the future ones in these times for those who long to know their own unique and beautiful note in the great song of the Earth.
"Listening to Keepers of the Flame is to feel a hand reaching out across time, gently caressing you awake after long slumber. These songs evoke an ancient longing, helping us remember who we really are and what we came here for. This is music that is a reclamation and an initiation- calling us back to our power and our belonging, music that is medicine for these times."
